  1. What is Mercadelia?

    Mercadelia it's a classified listings website. You do not need to register to publish an ad and it is completely free, yet offers an outstanding highlighting service for a modest and affordable price.

  2. How many ads can I post?

    You can publish the number of ads you want. There are no limits on publishing, and none will be eliminated unless, you do not respect the Terms of Use of the site.

  3. What kind of ads can I post to Mercadelia?

    You can publish ads of many kinds: rental or sale of houses, apartments, industrial warehouses or apartment to share, sell your car or motorcycle, going on holiday, sell used or old things you have in your home, and even post a listing looking for a girlfriend or boyfriend.

  4. How long the ads on the site once published?

    When a user publishes an ad, it takes the total time of 60 days to expire automatically. 3 days before the end of the period of 60 days, Mercadelia will send to the owner of a classified ad an e-mail telling them the future expiration of the listing, and at the same time, Mercadelia will provide them with a set of links so they can re-activate the ad without having to re-pass through publishing process.

  5. Do I have to wait 60 days to see my ad deleted from the website?

    No. Mercadelia will allow you to delete your listing even after it is released. Simply go to the "Delete" link from the main navigation bar and follow these steps:

    • Enter the reference number of ad that you'd published and wanted to erase. The reference number is available on the first tab of page ad (Ex.: "Ref. 33". You only need the number.), as well as the activation mail you received.

    • Write your current e-mail address (if you use a different address it will not work.)

    • Write the captcha code as you see it. Remember it is case sensitive.

    • Once you've sent the form, you will receive an email with a link to delete the published ad in Mercadelia. Read the e-mail carefully, check that the ad (by seeing the Ref. number) you want to delete is the correct before you click on the delete link.

  6. I published my ad but it has some spellchecking errors and some wrong information

    From the moment you publish your ad you can edit it as many times as you want. Simply go to the "Edit" link from the main navigation bar and follow these steps:

    • Enter the reference number of ad that you'd published and wanted to edit. The reference number is available on the first tab of page ad (Ex.: "Ref. 33". You only need the number.), as well as the activation mail you received.

    • Write your current e-mail address (if you use a different address it will not work.)

    • Write the captcha code as you see it. Remember it is case sensitive.

    • Once you've sent the form, you will receive an email with a link to edit the published ad in Mercadelia. Read the e-mail carefully, check that the ad (by seeing the Ref. number) you want to edit is the correct before you click on the edit link.

  7. I posted my ad, but after a while, I can not see it.

    If the announcement has not been published, it may be:

    • Mercadelia has blocked an ad automatically because it contains prohibited words or liable to be banned.

    • It does not respect the terms of use of the site (when you write an ad with your acceptance of the Terms of Use)

    • It has been reported as spam, repeated or content that could be banned.

    • You may never activated the ad. Check your e-mail for getting the activation link. Sometimes it may take 10 mins to get the e-mail. If the problem persist, contact us.

  8. I received an e-mail saying that Mercadelia have erased an announcement by its content, what have I done wrong?

    All ads Mercadelia are subject to the Terms of Use. When you post an ad, you have agreed to accept by the terms of use, and if you've done any infringement, Mercadelia reserves the right to remove any advertisement, by announcing it or without prior notice.

  9. I saw listings in Mercadelia with offensive content

    If you see an ad with questionable content, spam or offensive, you can mark the announcement as such, using options "flag this listing as ..." on the same listing page.

    Once an ad is flagged, Mercadelia will study the case and take or not the proper actions.

  10. Searching on Google I found an ad for Mercadelia, which is in my language but the rest of the site is in a different language that I do not recognize.

    At the top of any page you can set your native language so you can navigate Mercadelia in your language. Remember this option only translates Mercadelia's interface and not the content of the ads.

  11. What are these star in every ad you post on the lists?

    Those stars you see on the lists are there to mark them as favorites. Each ad that may be interesting you can store it temporarily (until you delete your cookies) to review them later. It doesn't matter wich category they are, just mark all the ads you want for a post reviewing.

    You can remove them by clicking again in the stars.

  12. What information is published and stored in Mercadelia?

    We do not store any private information from users. Only the e-mail address and only for publishing and noticing processes. When the ad expires, the e-mail and all the ad information will be erased.

    Be sure to check what information you publish in the website.

    Do not post any bank account or credit card information.

    We will never ask you for credit card numbers, or any other information we don't need.

  13. I see there are a lot of translations for Mercadelia but my native language isn't on the list

    If your native language isn't on the list, you can suggest a translation by contacting us.

  14. I see a lot of countries where you can browse/publish ads but my country isn't on the list

    You can suggest a new country in Mercadelia, just contact us and we will do our best to open a new country.
